Installation and Setup

This short video tutorial shows how to install and set up the WM Widerrufsmanager for WooCommerce in WordPress. The plugin helps you capture withdrawal requests directly in your WooCommerce shop in a structured way and then manage them clearly in the WordPress backend.

The basic setup takes only a few steps: install the plugin, create the withdrawal form, link the page and add the withdrawal button to the shop.

1. Install the plugin in WordPress

Install the plugin directly in the WordPress backend under Plugins → Add Plugin. Search for WM Widerrufsmanager, then install and activate the plugin.

After activation, a new Withdrawal menu item appears in the WordPress backend. From there you can manage withdrawals, adjust settings and prepare the integration.

2. Create a withdrawal form page

To allow customers to submit a withdrawal, create a dedicated page for the withdrawal form, for example with the title Withdrawal Form.

You can insert the form using the Gutenberg Withdrawal Form block or alternatively with this shortcode:

[wmwiderrufsmanager_formular]

Customers can later use this page to select their order and submit the withdrawal step by step.

3. Select the withdrawal page in the settings

Next, select the page you just created as the withdrawal page under Withdrawal → Settings. This tells the plugin which page should display the form.

Additional integration options are available there as well, including the shortcode for the withdrawal button:

[wmwiderrufsmanager_button]

The button can be placed in the shop, on an information page or in another suitable location. You can also customise the button text and colours in the settings.

4. Check and save the setup

After saving the settings, use the integrated mandatory check to verify that the most important integrations are configured correctly. You should then test the withdrawal page in the frontend.

The withdrawal button is displayed in the shop. After clicking it, customers are taken to the withdrawal form, where they can select their order and submit the withdrawal.

Conclusion

WM Widerrufsmanager is quick to set up and adds a clear process for handling withdrawal requests to WooCommerce. The video shows the complete basic setup step by step – from installation to the finished integration in the shop.
