Terms of Use for
Support Assistant

The Support Assistant provided on wm-plugins.de is designed to answer common questions about our WordPress plugins, their installation, configuration and use quickly and easily.

1. Scope

These Terms of Use apply to the use of the Support Assistant provided on wm-plugins.de.

The Support Assistant provides, among other things, FAQs, search results, technical information and general assistance relating to our products and their use.

2. General information

The answers and instructions provided through the Support Assistant are intended for general information and assistance.

They do not constitute a guarantee that a described procedure is equally suitable for every website, hosting environment, WordPress version, plugin or theme configuration.

In particular, the Support Assistant does not replace an individual review of a specific system environment.

3. Individual system configurations

WordPress websites can differ significantly depending on their configuration. Functionality may, for example, be affected by other plugins and themes, custom code, server and hosting settings, caching systems or different software versions.

Answers provided by the Support Assistant may therefore vary depending on the system configuration or may require adaptation to the respective environment.

4. Technical changes

Please check whether technical instructions are suitable for your system before implementing them.

Where possible, changes to live websites, files, databases or system settings should first be carried out in a suitable test or staging environment.

5. Backups

Before making changes to a website, particularly to files, databases, plugins, themes or system settings, a current and functional backup should be created.

It is the user’s responsibility to take appropriate backup measures before carrying out technical changes.

6. Currency and completeness

We make every effort to keep the content of the Support Assistant up to date and easy to understand.

Nevertheless, information may become outdated or, in individual cases, incomplete due to updates to WordPress, our plugins, third-party software or technical dependencies.

If an answer is unclear or a change is critical, we recommend contacting our support team before implementation.

7. Third-party software and services

Where the Support Assistant refers to plugins, themes, software, hosting services or other third-party offerings, we do not guarantee their continued availability, compatibility or error-free operation.

Third-party products and services are subject to the terms and responsibilities of the respective provider.

8. Liability

We are liable in accordance with statutory provisions for damage caused by us intentionally or through gross negligence.

In the event of a slightly negligent breach of material contractual obligations, our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract.

For technical impairments or damage resulting from information provided by the Support Assistant being applied without checking it against an individual WordPress, server, plugin or theme configuration, we are liable only within the scope of the statutory provisions.

Mandatory statutory liability, in particular in cases of intent and for damage arising from injury to life, limb or health, remains unaffected.

9. Contact

If you are unsure whether an instruction or change is suitable for your website, please contact us before implementation using the contact and support options available on wm-plugins.de.
