Create reason groups

PRO organises voluntary withdrawal reasons into reason groups. A group can contain several sortable reasons and can optionally allow an “Other” field or free-text note.

Assignment

• Global default reason group for all line items eligible for withdrawal.
• Different reason group directly on the product.
• Assignment via product categories.
• Assignment via product tags.
• Hide withdrawal reasons completely for an individual product.

Priority and inheritance

The direct product assignment is the most specific. This is followed by category/tag assignments and then the global default group.

Frontend

An optional selection field can appear for each line item eligible for withdrawal. The information remains voluntary and must not block the actual withdrawal request.

Stored data

For each line item, the reason-group ID/name, reason ID/label and an optional note can be stored. This information can be used in the admin view, email templates, PDF records, CSV exports and statistics.
