Before the update

• Create a current backup of files and the database.
• With PRO, check whether the new version requires a specific minimum Lite version.
• For major WooCommerce updates, ideally test in a staging environment first.

Recommended order for Lite + PRO

1. Update Lite.
2. Check that the plugin dashboard and withdrawal area load without errors.
3. Update PRO.
4. Open the extensions page and check that the modules are still active.

Test after the update

Run the mandatory check and test an order in the frontend. In particular, check the order lookup, email delivery, backend decision process and active PRO modules such as mapping, templates or PDF.
