Order validation is the plugin’s key eligibility check. It determines whether an order can be opened for a withdrawal request and which line items can be selected.
Validation logic
- Looks up a WooCommerce order using the order number entered.
- In PRO, the source of the order number can be controlled: automatic detection, the direct WooCommerce order ID or a custom order number using configured meta keys.
- In Lite, compares the email address entered with the billing email address of the order.
- In PRO, flexible verification combinations can use the order date, billing surname/company and billing postcode.
- Checks the order status against allowed or excluded statuses.
- Calculates the withdrawal period based on the configured number of days.
- Takes quantities already approved in previous withdrawal requests into account.
- Hides or marks line items that are not eligible for withdrawal or whose available quantity has already been exhausted.
Why is this important?
This allows invalid requests, orders outside the withdrawal period, mismatched verification details and duplicate withdrawal requests to be caught early. Administrators have less manual follow-up work to do. PRO verification is particularly useful for shops with local, manually created or offline-recorded orders.
