Using the Mandatory Check

The mandatory check verifies whether the plugin is generally set up correctly. It is an internal setup aid for shop operators and support staff and is especially useful before going live or after changes to pages, shortcodes, blocks and email settings.

Checked areas

  • WooCommerce availability and access to order data.
  • Configured withdrawal page.
  • Form integration via shortcode or Gutenberg block.
  • Button entry point via shortcode, block or widget.
  • Admin email address and customer communication.
  • Privacy text or privacy page link.
  • When WooCommerce Germanized is active: known additional withdrawal entry points such as the footer button, My Account link and the publicly accessible Germanized withdrawal page.

Evaluation

  • KPI cards show completed items, notices, open items and manual checks.
  • Check groups bundle results, for example Integration & Visibility or Mandatory Process.
  • Automatically detectable items are evaluated directly.
  • Items that cannot be checked unambiguously are marked as manual checks.
Start check Runs the technical check again and updates the status of the individual checkpoints.
Configure integration Takes admins to the relevant configuration if the form page, button or mandatory information is missing.
Support benefit The mandatory check helps make typical setup mistakes visible before customers use the withdrawal process.
Germanized compatibility Shows active known Germanized entry points and provides a direct link to the appropriate settings area. The check is purely informational; WM Widerrufsmanager does not make any automatic changes.

Important: The “Do not show again” option hides only the compact admin notice for the respective user. The Germanized compatibility status remains visible in the mandatory check and can be reviewed there at any time.
