FAQs, categories, tags and plugin settings are managed within your WordPress installation. No external chat platform is required for the core plugin’s search and Help Centre.

Session state

When enabled, the Support Assistant state is stored in sessionStorage for the current browser tab. No cookie is created. Contact-form content is not stored in this state object.

Contact form in Lite

Lite processes the name, subject, email address, message, source FAQ and page URL for email delivery via wp_mail(). The Lite workflow does not archive the request as a support request in the WordPress backend.

PRO extensions

PRO can store contact requests locally and record search statistics. Search statistics contain search terms and aggregated usage values, but no visitor identity or raw IP address. Derived hash keys are used for temporary deduplication/rate-limiting purposes.

Site operator responsibility

If you use contact storage, analytics or exports, your privacy and deletion policy should take this processing into account.
