Minimum technical requirements

• WordPress 6.7 or newer
• PHP 8.1 or newer
• Administrator access to the WordPress dashboard

For local checks

The basic checks do not require a connection to Witte Marketing. Individual results may depend on which PHP functions your host provides and whether WordPress can access specific server information.

For optional online functions

WordPress.org checks, vulnerability lookups, DNS tests, external analysis, and monitoring require the site to make outbound HTTPS requests. Self-tests additionally require working HTTP requests from the site to its own domain.

For email notifications

Warnings and monthly reports are sent through wp_mail(). A working WordPress mail configuration is therefore required for reliable delivery.
