What is WM Guard for?

WM Guard provides an understandable overview of the technical condition of a WordPress site. It checks items such as updates, file integrity, suspicious files, backup status, PHP and server conditions, important WordPress settings, and various operational and security signals.

Local checks as the foundation

Many checks run directly on your server and read existing WordPress, file-system, and system information. The assessment does not modify files and does not install or update anything automatically.

Optional functions

Some checks deliberately require separate consent or an explicit click. These include optional online diagnostics using WordPress.org, DNS and self-requests, the manual vulnerability lookup at wpvulnerability.net, and the voluntary Witte Marketing services for external analysis, detailed reports, and monitoring.
