Check the recipient
First verify the email address configured under Notifications. If the field is empty, WM Guard uses the WordPress administrator address.
Test WordPress mail delivery
WM Guard uses wp_mail(). If other WordPress emails are also unreliable, the likely cause is hosting, SMTP, or DNS configuration rather than WM Guard’s notification logic.
Check WP-Cron
Warnings and monthly reports are processed in the background through a daily cron run. Verify that WP-Cron works in general and that there is no persistent backlog.
Spam and authentication
Check spam folders and SPF, DKIM, and DMARC for your sending domain. With online diagnostics enabled, WM Guard can show SPF and DMARC as technical signals.
