Do not delete blindly

When a critical match appears, first preserve evidence and understand the cause. Careless deletion can break the site or remove useful forensic information.

Recommended order

1. Create a current backup or snapshot of the state if it is still safe to do so.
2. Document the affected file and path.
3. Compare it with a trusted original version of WordPress, the plugin, or the theme.
4. Review administrator access, updates, and other anomalies.
5. When uncertain, involve your host, agency, or a security specialist.
