PRO detects several common site-wide SMTP/email plugins and displays a notice if such a solution is already active. In this case, an additional Form4Events SMTP server is usually only useful if Form4Events is deliberately intended to send through a different server.

If the internal transport remains disabled, the plugin sends normally via wp_mail(); the existing site-wide mail solution can process these messages like other WordPress emails.
